Field Operations Lead

Job Summary
Schedule and dispatch crews, technicians, and equipment to job sites based on project needs and customer requirements. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, develop the master production schedule, and assign field personnel to optimize workforce efficiency. Track equipment usage, location, and availability while maintaining inventory levels of materials and supplies. Prepare project documentation, monitor communications, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and customer inquiries. Maintain accurate logs, review plans, and ensure compliance with specifications and PennDOT requirements. Requires minimum 2 years of construction or operations scheduling experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to work under pressure. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, dispatch, or operations scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret plans and anticipate field requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems
- Ability to work under pressure and make timely, practical decisions
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly process information and implement solutions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Road construction or PennDOT experience
- Pavement marking or road striping experience
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with local and regional geography
- Associate degree
- 5+ years of relevant field or operations experience
- Prior experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Background in road construction, pavement marking, or related heavy-civil work
