Job Summary
The Field Operations Engineer will lead field engineering and operations of water treatment technology at a customer site in Corona, CA, including commissioning and startup of new systems, on-site safety, coordination with vendors and client operations, and daily/weekly reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of commissioning/start-up experience on large capital projects across environmental/construction/oil & gas/chemical/power sectors. Proficiency with piping systems, water treatment equipment, and MS Office is preferred; the position involves traveling to the site, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring site readiness and project schedule adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical Engineering or equivalent industry experience/certifications considered
- 3-5 years of commissioning and start-up experience of large capital projects in the environmental, construction, oil & gas, chemical, or power industries preferred
- Familiarity with industrial piping systems, water treatment equipment, or distillation equipment is preferred
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases, Microsoft Office software, etc.
