Job Summary
Field Operations Engineer with responsibility for field engineering and operation of water treatment technology at a customer site in Santa Clarita, CA. Led field engineering activities, commissioning and start-up of systems, site safety, coordination with on-site contractors and suppliers, and preparation of daily/weekly site status reports. Develops on-site staffing plans, reviews drawings, manages documentation and inspection reports, and drives project tasks to completion. Requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering and experience in commissioning/start-up of large capital projects; proficiency with piping systems, water treatment equipment, and strong technical communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent industry experience/certifications considered
- 3-5 years of commissioning and start-up experience of large capital projects in the environmental, construction, oil & gas, chemical, or power industries preferred
- Familiarity with industrial piping systems, water treatment equipment, or distillation equipment is preferred
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases, Microsoft Office software, etc.
