Job Summary
Field Operations Coordinator position in Fremont, CA, responsible for conducting vehicle assessments and coordinating with dealerships to ensure inspections meet OPENLANE standards. Key duties include documenting engine, transmission, interior and exterior condition using OPENLANE’s mobile app, submitting detailed inspection reports, coordinating with dealerships and internal teams, and assisting in marketing efforts (distributing promotional materials). Must have at least 5 years of automotive experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions. Position requires in-person work across multiple CA locations (Fremont, San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View, Sunnyvale) with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule and a valid driver\'s license. Compensation range is $29-$31/hour ($60,320–$64,480/year), plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent mechanical background
- Valid driver\'s license
- Proficiency in using technology, including electronic submission of inspection reports
