Job Summary
Coordinate field operations for vehicle inspections and collaborate with dealerships to ensure OPENLANE standards are met. Conduct comprehensive vehicle assessments (engine, transmission, interior, exterior) and document findings using OPENLANE's mobile app; submit detailed inspection reports; assist in distributing marketing materials to buying dealers. Requires a minimum of 5 years of automotive experience, valid driver's license, and strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Role involves coordinating with the Regional Operations Manager, sales team, and operations team to maintain efficient workflows and customer relationships. Position located in Fairfield, CA area with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule (8a-5p PST).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent mechanical background
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Proficiency in using technology, including electronic submission of inspection reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
