Job Summary
Facilitate teacher training sessions using the KiDS manual and support educators in conducting diabetes awareness sessions with students aged 10–15. Organize parent-teacher meetings, map communities linked to project schools, and conduct awareness meetings to identify diabetes ambassadors. Document all field activities systematically, compile data for submission to the District Coordinator, and maintain complete records of referrals to health facilities. Requires approximately 20 days of field travel per month with provided logistics. Report to the District Coordinator or Programme Manager within the Bhopal rural block.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduation in Home Science, Nutrition, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in development, health, education, or nutrition programmes at the district level
- Working knowledge of the education department system in UP
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data entry and reporting
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Hindi and English
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in field settings with minimal supervision
- Approximately 20 days of field travel per month
