Job Summary
Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews, prepare work plans and packages, and order material deliveries. Perform takeoffs from drawings, generate change orders, and provide field support to supervise subcontractor operations. Review project data, complete plans and specification reviews, and assist with bid preparation. This role involves travel and relocation to Ingleside, TX, with a requirement for overtime and weekend work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related degree
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Work overtime and weekends as required
- May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
Desired Qualifications
- Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred
