Job Summary
Field Nurse (RN) to provide in-home nursing care in Freehold, NJ on a per-diem, part-time basis. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, medication management, ADLs support, vital signs monitoring, health education, detailed clinical documentation in EHRs, care coordination with physicians and families, and emergency response as needed. Requires NJ RN license with ADN (BSN preferred), minimum 3 years of RN experience including home care, CPR/BLS certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work independently in patients' homes. Per-diem role with opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience as an RN, with at least 3 years in home care, long-term care, or a similar community-based setting
- Current CPR certification (BLS required)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant technology
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to adapt to various home environments and patient situations
