Job Summary
The Field Nurse Educator will facilitate connections between patients and approved educational resources, delivering direct, disease-specific education related to prescribed medications. Responsibilities include promoting treatment adherence, encouraging communication with healthcare providers, and providing personalized education on chronic disease management. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or BSN, a current RN license, at least 5 years of clinical experience, and strong interpersonal skills. This role requires effective time management and the ability to work independently, with flexibility for travel and working evenings or weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or BSN
- Active RN license in state of residence; compact multi-state license preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in healthcare
- Nursing license must be current and in good standing
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience in direct patient interaction with a focus on adherence and persistence
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a nurse educator
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong understanding of clinical data and pharmacology
- Effective presentation and motivational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
