Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and repair specialized heavy-duty equipment in the shop and at large job sites, specifically for mining, earth moving, and drilling machinery. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems while utilizing diagnostic software and performing welding and fabrication tasks. Commit to overnight travel assignments as needed, requiring a valid driver's license and CDL. Work under a flexible shift schedule including 10 on 4 off, 9 on 5 off, or 8 on 6 off, with Fly-In-Fly-Out options available. Earn between $30 and $70 per hour with weekly pay, per diem up to $150, and a $300 monthly tool allowance.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Able to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- CDL, or able to obtain one
- Full set of tools
