Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and repair specialized heavy-duty equipment for mining, earth moving, and drilling operations both in the shop and at remote job sites. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues using diagnostic software while performing welding and fabrication tasks. Commit to overnight travel assignments as needed and operate with a full set of tools. Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $70.00 per hour with relocation assistance, sign-on bonuses, and a $300 monthly tool allowance. Schedule options include 10 on 4 off, 9 on 5 off, or 8 on 6 off. Requires three or more years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain a CDL.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Able to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- CDL, or able to obtain one
- Full set of tools
