Job Summary
Maintain a TIIR of 0 by reporting near misses through the GoCanvas app, achieving 100% compliance on pre-shift equipment checks, and utilizing the Guardian Angel Creed to educate fellow employees. Repair and maintain rock crushers including gyratory, jaw, cone, and impact crushers, ranging from liner changes to complete machine replacement. Measure and inspect components using micrometers and calipers to determine repair or replacement needs, then generate field reports documenting findings and root causes. Manage billed field expenses via work orders and maintain company equipment in safe, DOT-compliant condition. Complete required training on service trucks, cranes, welders, and torches within 90 days of hire. Support annual crusher surveys and daily inspections, with a requirement to travel over 50% of the time in changing outdoor weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must believe and practice safety as the number one priority
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be a self-motivated, strong work ethic individual that is willing to work with minimal supervision and at high level of accountability to operational requirements
- A strong, mechanical background
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in aggregates production or on rock crushing equipment
- Ability to correctly measure parts, clearances and interference fits with micrometers and calipers
- Basic computer skills with the ability to report and transfer information
- Must have the willingness and ability to travel on a frequent level
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, cold and wind
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel over 50% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to field weld with multiple processes, to cut with plasma, and to use various traditional and thermal torches
