Job Summary
Field Mechanic at Lakeside Foods responsible for the efficient operation of pea and corn harvesters and other field equipment during harvest and off-season maintenance. Serves as supervisor/mechanic for field operations, trains other field employees in safe, proper operation of equipment, and assists in planting and harvesting activities. Performs preventative maintenance, overhaul, and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations, and maintains company vehicles. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license (CDL a plus), and a safety-minded, team-oriented attitude. Seasonal schedule includes harvest months (June–October) with four 10-hour days during the season and ongoing maintenance during off-season, with advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
