Job Summary
Field Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing construction equipment across multiple job sites. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical issues, and performing repairs to ensure all equipment remains operational.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Ability to work on hydraulic and air braking systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Basic understanding of diesel engines
- Hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
- Certifications or training in Safety, Brakes (Hydraulic and Air), Engine (Gas and Diesel), Transmissions, Troubleshooting, Suspension Systems
- Ability to travel and stay overnight as required
Desired Qualifications
- CDL license
- Experience with heavy equipment (pile drivers, skid steers, mowers, trucks, Vermeer equipment)
