Field Material Coordinator

Job Summary
Field Material Coordinator responsible for site-level oversight of material procurement, storage, inventory control, and readiness for a large EPC industrial construction project in Edmonton. Duties include coordinating receipt, storage, control, and issuance of construction materials and equipment; managing pick tickets and receiving verification; interfacing with EPC contractors and suppliers as an owner-side representative; tracking material deliveries and inventory; inspecting incoming materials for quality and specification compliance; resolving shortages, damages, and discrepancies; maintaining site material records and reports; utilizing Smart Materials and Jovix RFID systems for tracking; coordinating material handling, laydown areas, and storage to ensure safety and efficiency; communicating material status, risks, and constraints to construction, engineering, and procurement teams. Requires senior-level experience in industrial construction, hands-on commodities knowledge, proficiency with Smart Materials/Jovix RFID, and strong data management skills (Excel/Power BI); independent on-site work capability. Degree or diploma in PM, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include SAP MM, turnaround materials coordination, AI applications in materials management, project management experience, and EPC project completion experience.
