Job Summary
Field Marketing Specialist role focused on coordinating a unified brand experience for Salomon in Ohio and the greater Midwest. Responsibilities include planning and executing consumer events, product demos, in-store training, activations with dealers and ambassadors, managing regional brand ambassadors, collaborating with sales agencies, supporting national/sponsored events, producing customer-centric activations, and tracking KPIs and budgets. The position emphasizes in-person field activities, event execution, staff training, booth and POS support, and delivering compelling brand education and consumer engagement across multiple touchpoints. Travel is a key component, with duties spanning digital toolkit support, local event management, and collaboration with internal marketing teams.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years practical experience in the running, outdoor and/or sneaker industry is preferred
- B.S. or B.A. In Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Budget management
- Ability to work remotely in a designated context
- Self-motivation and multi-project management
- Willingness to travel within territory (85% travel)
- Driver's license and ability to travel as required
