Job Summary
Directly supervise and mentor up to 10 lawn care technicians, conducting daily check-ins, coordinating schedules, and ensuring proper safety gear and equipment. Monitor technician performance through field audits and quality assurance checks, providing coaching on chemical application, equipment operation, and customer service. Enforce company safety protocols and local regulations regarding pesticide use, while resolving operational issues like equipment malfunctions and scheduling conflicts. Manage vehicle maintenance, inventory levels, and supply replenishment. Report on team performance and operational results to the lead service manager. Maintain accurate records of certifications and compliance audits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical application
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Capability to operate lawn care equipment and safely handle chemical products
- Ability to obtain necessary state certifications for chemical application, if not already certified
