Job Summary
TAK Broadband is seeking a Field Manager to oversee daily telecom fiber-optic construction operations for multi-dwelling units (MDUs). You will manage field supervisors and internal teams, align operational execution with project goals, implement processes to maximize productivity and minimize delays or cost overruns, and travel extensively (up to 85%) to project sites across the United States while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role involves coaching and developing team members, cross-functional coordination, preparing detailed performance and budget reports, and driving continuous improvements in workflows and tools to support company growth.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in broadband, telecommunications, construction operations, or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred but not required
- Experience working on multi-dwelling unit (MDU) projects is a plus
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States (up to 85%)
- Ability to manage and develop teams and provide performance feedback
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Ability to perform essential functions with physical requirements (travel, field work)
