Job Summary
Lead a team of multi-skilled waste network service engineers in delivering reactive and planned 24/7 operational responses while managing fleet issues, vehicle utilization, and resource availability. Conduct site inspections, evaluate employee performance, and liaise with office planners and senior leadership teams. Manage health and safety compliance, oversee budgetary limits for equipment and consumables, and handle HR matters including disciplinary actions and pathway reviews. Coordinate field engineers, assist clients with high-profile jobs, and support staff wellbeing. Work Monday to Friday with a 40-hour schedule plus on-call rota in Kidlington.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management and leadership experience
- Full UK drivers licence
- Prior knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and waste water
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Ability to build working relationships
