Job Summary
HVAC Field Manager responsible for managing in-home field technicians in repairs and installations, directing 70% field-based coaching and development, ensuring 7-day 365 operations coverage, monitoring performance via field visits and customer feedback, handling customer inquiries and complaints, performing equipment replacement estimates, interviewing and hiring technicians, and coordinating with Field Training Manager on training needs while ensuring adherence to union CBA where applicable and approving payroll for direct reports.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years management experience with serving and installations in the Plumbing and HVAC field
- Effective Management of a unionized workforce consisting of 10-20 Field Technicians desirable
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Team player
- Field Oriented, in-depth knowledge of HVAC field and Management focus
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously on a regular basis
- Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel proficient
