Job Summary
Perform store repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and HVAC services across assigned locations. Visit stores on a scheduled basis to clean equipment and conduct monthly and semiannual preventive maintenance. Plan efficient daily routes, coordinate stores for remodels and openings, and maintain asset tagging systems through audits and transfers. Prepare and coordinate paperwork for invoicing and payroll while reporting company standards violations to the Lead Technician. Requires extensive travel, five days per week, and evening or weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience as a General Craftsman
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 72 lbs
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to climb and perform various functions on a ladder at a height of approximately 30 feet
- Ability to successfully complete the Technician 20 skills test
- Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 72 lbs
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to climb and perform various functions on a ladder at a height of approximately 30 feet
- Must be able to perform the following physical actions repetitively and for long periods of time: standing, crouching, bending, reaching above the shoulders, reaching below the waist, reaching horizontally, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and grasping firmly
- Requires extensive travel, 5 days per week and will include evening and weekend hours
- Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision

- Obtain training certifications as required
