Field Maintenance Technician II (Refrigeration)

Job Summary
Maintain and repair all refrigeration equipment by visually inspecting machines, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose malfunctions, and dismantling defective units to install new parts or adjust motors. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, and gears while removing dust, dirt, and grease. Install and repair electrical apparatuses such as transformers and wiring, replace belts, and lay out pipe systems for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair physical structures including plumbing, painting, and general building upkeep in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Follow safe work habits, clean work areas, and issue required reports while maintaining confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance operations, including Beverage Machine systems and equipment
- EPA Certification Type 1 or Type 2 required
- Universal Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with C-Store and/or retail facilities
