Job Summary
Perform Plate Check™ and tubular heat exchanger inspections, execute repairs and troubleshooting, and supervise installations. Conduct on-site customer training and mentor new technicians while collaborating with Sales Engineers on upcoming service needs. Submit accurate service reports within 48 hours and maintain detailed plant folders and documentation. Travel more than 15 days monthly, including weekends, to support customers across the U.S. This role offers $30–$32/hour plus bonus potential, health benefits, and a company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a traveling technician
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool experience
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel >15 days/month (including some weekends)
