Job Summary
Join NJM Insurance Group as a Field Loss Control Consultant focused on conducting on-site loss control surveys, preparing reports, and enhancing training programs to assist policyholders in risk management. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills along with a minimum of 3 years of loss control experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years loss control experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience with laptop computers as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Safety experience is required
- Loss Control and Safety Experience in the Insurance Industry (Workers’ Comp, Commercial Auto, Property and/or General Liability)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in loss control preferred
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
- OHST (Occupational Health and Safety) Certification preferred
- ARM (Associate in Risk Management) preferred
- ASC (Advanced Safety Certification from the National Safety Council) or willing to obtain after hire
