Field Licensed Practical Nurse (FT)

Job Summary
Provide licensed practical nursing care in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, and similar settings under RN supervision. Administer prescribed medications and IV fluids, monitor and chart patient conditions, perform basic nursing tasks (vital signs, wound care, hygiene, dressing, catheterizations), sterilize equipment, assist with examinations and treatments, and support a health care team. Responsible for patient comfort, safety, documentation, and basic administrative duties in doctors’ offices or clinics. Requires Associate’s Degree, valid LPN license in Louisiana, and CPR certification; 1–2 years related experience preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school)
- One to two years related experience
- Current Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners license with no restrictions
- CPR certification
