Job Summary
The Field Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for advanced testing, inspections, and quality assurance on concrete construction sites. Key responsibilities include reviewing project documents, participating in layout and field engineering activities, establishing control lines for foundations and structures, performing surveying tasks, and documenting engineering activities. Candidates must possess at least one year of relevant experience, be proficient in reading contract drawings, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. The position may require extensive travel (up to 70%) and offers opportunities for career advancement in a stable organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in field engineering/lay-out
- Proficient at reading and understanding contract drawing
- Knowledge of construction field engineering from pre-construction to completion
- Experience with Total Stations and surveying activities
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Good communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast paced environment
