Field Labor Coordinator

Job Summary
Conduct new hire orientations, process E-Verify, and maintain accurate employee records while entering field labor hours and reconciling project timecards. Perform position and pay rate audits, manage apprenticeship enrollments in the DOL RAPIDS system, and coordinate logistics for online training requirements. Troubleshoot computer equipment issues and prepare reporting for IRA program compliance. Maintain the required apprenticeship-to-journeyman ratio and ensure adherence to state registration standards. Requires 2+ years in HR administration or payroll processing, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions while lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in HR administration, payroll processing / timekeeping or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent Excel ability
- Highly organized
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Performs well under tight deadlines
- Always maintains an elevated level of professionalism
- Effective communication skills with all organizational levels
- Problem solving through face-to-face, email and phone communications
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to successfully perform job's essential functions including mobility on and around construction sites
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
