Job Summary
Provide hands-on technical support as a Field IT Support Technician for various plant locations while ensuring reliable technology for safe operations. Responsibilities include complying with safety regulations, providing onsite IT support for various hardware, troubleshooting issues, assisting with installation and maintenance of networks, managing IT assets, and training plant personnel on IT and cybersecurity best practices. This role requires strong IT support experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in field or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)
- Comfort working independently and traveling up to 75%
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work in outdoor, dusty, and industrial environments
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or CompTIA A+ / Network+
- Experience with VOIP phones, IP cameras/NVRs, Zebra printers, and Apple iOS devices
- Background supporting manufacturing, construction, or industrial operations
