Job Summary

Field Installation Manager responsible for overseeing daily field operations for 10–20 active service jobs across the Greater Sacramento area. Key duties include troubleshooting field issues, producing service estimates, scoping job requirements, coordinating and scheduling 1–2 person installation/service crews, sourcing parts and materials, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope, and maintaining quality and safety standards (ADA, fire code, etc.). role involves direct field supervision, real-time communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and a 6-month training period in leadership with the internal leadership team.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background in commercial door and gate service/installation
  • Experience with automatic doors (SIG or similar)
  • Storefront doors
  • Hollow metal doors
  • Solid core/wood doors
  • Overhead doors
  • Dock equipment
  • Gates and gate operators
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the field
  • Experience running estimates and coordinating service work
  • Comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to oversee 10-20 active service jobs
  • Ability to coordinate and schedule 1-2 person installation/service crews
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher not required; experience preferred
