Job Summary
Assist lead technicians with installing and servicing electronic security systems in commercial and light residential environments, including video surveillance, access control, and A/V installations. Run cables, install underground infrastructure like trenches and conduits, and mount light poles and gate operators while maintaining cleanliness during active business operations. Maneuver in attics and raised foundations, then transition to driving company vehicles as a lead technician after completing four months to one year of training. This role involves travel throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina with full pay and expense coverage. Candidates must bring their own hand tools, lift heavy objects, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean record. Entry-level electricians with one year of experience or no experience are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- no felony or criminal record
- pass drug screening
- valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- four months to one year helper status
- training before promotion to Lead Technician
- Monday – Friday work schedule
- occasional/rare Saturdays
- 8AM start time
- 5-6PM stop time
- ability to work later start times
- delayed ending time
- night work
- travel throughout FL, GA & SC on a weekly basis
- own hand tools (screw drivers, scissors, wrenches, sheetrock saw, wire strippers, RJ45 crimpers, glow rods, sockets/ratchets, pliers/cutters, voltage meter)
- ability to lift heavy objects (wire, ladders, other items)
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of direct industry experience
