Job Summary
Field Inspector role focused on field audits and inventory inspections as a 1099 contractor. Responsibilities include traveling to assigned locations to perform floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a mobile device. Inspections may involve automobiles, equipment, or property-related verifications and condition assessments. Requires independent contractor status, reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, outdoor readiness, and access to a smartphone/tablet and Wi‐Fi-enabled computer. Strong communication skills and proficiency with iOS/Android, Google Chrome, and Microsoft products are needed. Pay is per inspection with average earnings around $1,500 per month or more depending on location and assignments. Schedule is flexible; field-based travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
