Job Summary
Field Inspector role for 1099 contractor performing field audit inspections across locations. Travel to assigned locations to conduct floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using Android or iOS devices. Inspections may involve automobiles, equipment, property inspections, inventory verification, or property-condition assessments. Independent contractor with flexible, part-time schedule; average earnings cited as around $1,500 per month or more depending on location and assignments. Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, smartphone/tablet, and ability to work outdoors with strong communication and data-entry skills. Proficiency with iOS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft; 7.5-hour standing/walking capability; field-based with travel.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
