Job Summary
Field Inspector responsibilities include performing field audit inspections and inventory checks across assigned locations as a 1099 contractor. Inspectors travel to sites to conduct floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a mobile device. Tasks may involve automobile and equipment inspections, property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments; compensation is paid per inspection with average earnings around $1,500 per month, with schedule flexibility and the ability to choose assignments. The role requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, access to a smartphone/tablet and laptop with Wi‐Fi, and strong communication skills. The job is contract/part-time with remote options and field-based travel within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
