Job Summary
Field Inspector responsibilities include performing field audit inspections and inventory verifications as a 1099 contractor. Travel to assigned locations to conduct floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a smartphone/tablet; inspections may involve automobiles, equipment, property inspections, or condition assessments. Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and access to a computer with Wi‐Fi to schedule jobs. Compensation is paid per inspection with average earnings around $1,500+ per month depending on location and assignments. Schedule is Flexible—choose your own hours; field-based travel and outdoor work in various weather conditions are typical. United States applicants only; field-based travel to St. Louis, MO, and surrounding areas. Strong communication and tech skills (iOS, Chrome, Microsoft) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 7.5 hours)
