Job Summary
Field Inspector role focusing on field audit inspections as a 1099 contractor. Travel to assigned locations to perform floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a mobile device. Activities include inspecting automobiles, equipment, and occasionally property or inventory conditions, with flexibility to work outdoors and set own schedule. Requires access to a smartphone/tablet and computer with Wi‐Fi, reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and strong communication skills; compensation paid per inspection with earnings potential depending on location and assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
