Job Summary
Field Inspector responsibilities include performing field audit inspections, floorplan audits, data collection, and photography uploads using mobile devices, with travel to assigned locations. This is a 1099 contractor role (contract, part-time) offering flexible scheduling and per-inspection compensation, with average earnings around $1,500 per month or more depending on location and assignments. Preference for candidates who are resourceful, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Requires access to a vehicle, driver’s license, smartphone or tablet, and a computer with Wi‐Fi for scheduling jobs. Proficiency with iOS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft tools is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
