Job Summary
Field Inspector will perform field audits and inventory inspections as a 1099 contractor traveling to assigned locations. Responsibilities include conducting floorplan audits, capturing photos, collecting data, and uploading inspection information using a smartphone or tablet. Most inspections involve automobiles and equipment, with possible property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors; requires access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, along with a smartphone/tablet and a computer with Wi‐Fi. Flexible schedule with travel across local areas; paid per inspection with earnings varying by location and assignment complexity.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status (be your own boss)
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
