Job Summary
Field Inspector role performing field audits and inventory inspections as a 1099 contractor. Travel to assigned field locations to conduct floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a smartphone or tablet. Inspections may involve automobiles, equipment, property conditions, or inventory verification; duties include standing/walking for up to 7.5 hours, traveling between sites, and communicating findings clearly. Requires reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, access to a smartphone/tablet and Wi‐Fi, and ability to operate commonOS (iOS, Chrome, Microsoft). Flexible scheduling; average earnings around $1,500+ per month depending on location and assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
