Job Summary
Independent contractor Field Audit & Inventory Inspector role performing field inspections across locations. Travel to assigned sites to conduct floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a smartphone or tablet. Inspections involve automobiles and equipment, with some assignments including property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. Flexible earning opportunities for contractors; equipment and travel required; pay per inspection with average earnings around $1,500 per month or more, depending on location and workload. Requires access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, mobile device, and internet to accept/schedule jobs. Proficient in iOS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours; field-based, travel-heavy schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
