Job Summary
Field Audit & Inventory Inspector (1099 Contractor) travels to assigned locations to perform field audits, floorplan inspections, data capture via Android or iOS device, and upload inspection information. Inspections involve automobiles and equipment, with some property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. Paid per inspection with average earnings of about $1,500 per month or more, depending on location and assignments. Requires open daytime availability, reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and access to a smartphone/tablet and a computer with Wi‐Fi. Office-based work is not required; flexible schedule and travel are inherent to the role.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi‐Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
