Job Summary
1099 Field Audit & Inventory Inspector traveling to assigned locations to perform floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using a mobile device. Inspections involve automobiles and equipment, with some assignments including property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. Compensation is paid per inspection with average earnings of about $1,500 per month or more depending on location and workload. Flexible schedule; contract/part-time hours; field-based with travel required. Requires valid driver’s license, access to a smartphone/tablet and a computer with Wi-Fi, and the ability to work outdoors and stand/walk for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
