Job Summary
Field Inspector needed as a 1099 contractor to perform field audit inspections in local areas. Responsibilities include traveling to assigned locations to conduct floorplan audits, capture photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using an Android or iOS device. Most inspections involve automobiles and equipment, with some assignments including property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. Independent contractors must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Requirements include a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, access to a smartphone/tablet and a computer with Wi‐Fi to schedule jobs, and strong verbal/written communication skills. Compensation is paid per inspection, with average earnings around $1,500 per month or more depending on location and availability.
Required Qualifications

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common operating systems (iOS, Google Chrome, Microsoft)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
