Job Summary
The Field Inspector will inspect structural components at customer locations to identify defects and recommend remedial measures for noncomplex defects. Responsibilities include reading and comprehending drawings, conducting inspections in a heavy industrial environment, and gathering field measurements. The candidate should be proficient in using computers and tablets for both office and fieldwork. Travel within Missouri and potentially other states is required, including availability for emergency jobs on short notice.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Inspection Experience
- Must pass a fit for duty test
Desired Qualifications
- Nondestructive testing experience
- Certified welding inspector
- American Petroleum Inspector 510, 570 or 653
- NACE coating inspector
- Experience in shop welding and fabrication or quality inspection in other fields
