Job Summary
Naik Consulting Group seeks a Field Inspector with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in construction inspection to monitor contractor operations for public infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering preferred
- 2+ years of experience in construction inspection
- Valid NICET II certification in Highway Construction Inspection required
- Current water main inspection certification card certifying successful completion of the DDC water main training program (Must be issued within the last five years)
- OSHA 30-hour safety course is required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Project Management tools (i.e., Procore, Asite)
- Experience with Transportation/Infrastructure projects
- Experience working with public agencies (i.e., NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYSDOT)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- A strong attention to detail is necessary.
