Job Summary
Support hardware installations by deploying Monaire sensors, thermostats, gateways, and controllers with HVAC service providers while verifying system communication. Guide contractors through installation workflows using the Monaire app and resolve connectivity or configuration issues during early deployments. Deliver in-person training to technicians and troubleshoot hardware problems to ensure independent contractor capability. Provide field feedback to product and engineering teams to improve documentation and simplify installation processes. This role requires regular travel to customer sites and involves working directly with HVAC contractors to enable faster, confident system deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with HVAC systems, building automation, or controls
- Comfortable working with hardware installations and field troubleshooting
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to field technicians
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations and training
- Highly organized and comfortable working with contractors and customers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience commissioning HVAC or BAS systems
- Experience training technicians or contractors
- Familiarity with IoT devices, sensors, or smart building technology
- Experience troubleshooting networking or connectivity issues
