Job Summary
Field hydraulics and pneumatics service technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on marine and vessel equipment across client sites in Canada and the United States. Tasks include routine inspections, part replacement, documenting procedures and corrective actions, interpreting schematics and blueprints, testing and calibrating components, and compiling service reports. Must be able to travel to client sites, work on-call and overtime as needed, and perform in-shop overhaul and installation work with attention to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical systems experience
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of fluid power, marine systems, and propulsion control
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and client blueprints
- Ability to follow technical procedures and standards to assemble, test, and calibrate components
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally
- CSA-approved safety footwear provided by employee
