Job Summary
Install, service and repair portable HVAC equipment at customer sites for emergency or scheduled events, lead the setup and maintenance to ensure rent-ready performance; diagnose and repair equipment, diagnose electrical issues, and troubleshoot to optimize operations; manage warehouse operations including forklift handling and inventory; mentor junior technicians and lead complex projects; maintain detailed job notes and collaborate with the team using company technology; adhere to professional standards, maintain clean equipment and vehicles, and deliver strong customer service; required EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, DOT medical card, and 3+ years HVAC experience; driving a box-truck/sprinter and willingness for on-call shifts with seasonal overtime; occasional travel to various customer sites within the service area.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair experience
- EPA certification Type 2 or Universal
- DOT medical card
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; driving a box-truck/sprinter van plus towing a trailer preferred
- Experience with electrical meters, vacuum pumps, refrigerant retrieval equipment, combustion analyzers, and oxygen acetylene torches
- Wiring schematics understanding and ability to diagnose
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs, work indoors and outdoors in various conditions
- Proficient with mobile devices/tablets/laptops for digital records and field communications
