Job Summary
Head Field Hockey Varsity Coach for Everett Public Schools. Responsibilities include coaching individuals to achieve excellence, maintaining team records and injury reports, guiding academic achievement and college planning for athletes, managing equipment and uniforms, ensuring athlete academic eligibility, overseeing safety of facilities, attending all practices and contests, enforcing sportsmanship, attending athletic department and MIAA-related meetings, developing structured practice plans, supporting the broader EHS staff, organizing clinics for youth programs and coaches, supervising uniforms and equipment, and coordinating daily team schedules. Qualifications include knowledge of field hockey and rules, ability to teach players, ability to collaborate with students, parents, and staff, CPR certification, and MIAA coaching education completion; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Stipend position with salary based on contract; nondiscrimination policies apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CPR Certification
- Completion of the MIAA Coaches Education Class and/or other requirements by the MIAA preferred
- Knowledge of field hockey and its rules, and ability to instruct players in all facets of the sport
