Job Summary
Diagnose and repair Caterpillar and related heavy equipment by performing advanced mechanical and hydraulic repairs using diagnostic tools. Work in the field at customer locations, communicating professionally with clients and team members while following all safety procedures. Support and mentor other technicians when needed. Requires one-year certificate or associates degree plus five-plus years of Cat dealer experience and ten years in the heavy equipment industry. Starting wage ranges from $47 to $60 per hour with full benefits and profit sharing.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school
- Minimum five plus year's of Cat dealer experience
- ten year's heavy equipment industry experience
- equivalent education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a heavy equipment technician (Cat or similar)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
