Job Summary
Own the EMEA program from a near-blank page, prioritizing markets and formats to earn credibility with European enterprise buyers. Execute end-to-end event logistics across London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Munich, managing vendors, contracts, and GDPR compliance while partnering with EMEA sales to drive pipeline. Build the regional playbook for future hires and leverage AI to automate operational tasks like targeting and run-of-show generation. This role requires in-person presence in London with regular travel to EMEA and periodic trips to San Francisco, operating across time zones with an SF-based team.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in field marketing or event marketing at a B2B technology company
- ownership of a multi-country European program
- Deep event craft
- Genuine EMEA market knowledge
- A real pipeline orientation
- Evidence of strong sales partnership
- Comfort operating semi-autonomously with a headquarters in another time zone
- Practical fluency with GDPR as it applies to event data and marketing consent
- AI-native working habits

Desired Qualifications
- Experience launching a region from zero at an early-stage or US-headquartered company
- Additional European languages
